πππ I love this and couldn't agree more. It's so saddening, but truthfully also difficult to follow the calling of supporting others in the wellness and healing journeys without completely giving into the pressures of capitalism and financial success. And to find the balance with making the kind of money needed to sustain a life as well.
It honestly saddens me that money has to taint even the most sacred of purposes. I have not yet figured out a way around it...
Thank you writing this. We are witnessing a capitalistic wave in the healing arts, itβs been happening for a while and quite honestly I believe that people are becoming addicted to their own healing journeys. There is not much talk of the integration period required for any modality β¦ which is contributing to the experiences you talk about.
Exactly, it's the integration that's concerning right. It's the constant search for awakening and activation and not much with how to integrate back into grounding with the world around them.
Yeah. Itβs causing so many issues for people, including spiritual teachers and those who offer holistic modalities.
The capitalistic spiritual market has completely and significantly changed my business over the last five years. People want immediate results without doing the actual work. Attention spans are much shorter which becomes a loop in itself. Itβs kind of sad to watch, all the way around.
I see this right now with so many people to left my last corporate company, they all want to be life coaches when most of them actually probably need some therapy first. The blind leading the blind as we say.
As I read your article, I felt a tap on the shoulder to share the following with you. It's a message that came totally out of the blue to Michael Perfetto during one of our recent medical qigong sessions: "The mind is not human." I'm not sure if it ties in to your article. But I'm following the tap on the shoulder. :)
Thatβs a great insight :) I find it is true, itβs about wounded healers and people rushing their journeys to make money from a new spiritual practice.
This oneβs for you @Psychic Medium, Donna Frasca :)
Thanks! Iβll read this once I get off the road, I get car sick π€’ I have a lot of reading to catch up on this week - thanks for the tag.
Take your time :) safe car ride!!
Thanks, and now an airplane ride! What a fun day!

I know, maybe one day itβll change but Iβm not holding my breath!
