I agree with you 100%. Even with mediums, some come across that are like βitβs my way or the highwayβ and as soon as you disagree with them or show your point of view, they block you, unfollow you or just load you up with rude comments. We all have these gifts, each and every one of us have legitimate experiences and none of them should be dismissed.
Great read. This stands out to me based on what I was reading in a tarot guide about the hermit in reverse.
If we try to explain things we donβt fully understand as an authority, or claim something we donβt actually fully comprehend, it verges into charlatan territory, especially combined for material or energetic gain with others.
I firmly believe we are not allowed to fully understand the whole picture, we just gets bits and pieces revealed in our own unique gifts.
Iβm honestly glad Iβm not the only one with this. It just makes me want to scream inside when people are like βyou can find out everything about consciousnessβ¦if you pay me 555 firstβ haha
For sure, everyone is on a path with it. Itβs easy to get caught into these false prophet vibes from people without even realising! Especially when people are very confident or softly spoken.
Discernment is such an important (and hard earned/learned) lesson on the spiritual growth path. I think that's why being empathic is one of the most powerful gifts. Where others hear the words, clairsentience feels the intent behind the words. Learning to trust that feeling is the challenge though. Thanks for writing this!
Thank you :) yes exactly, I think people have their own journeys with discernment. We canβt always be told and colour peopleβs perceptions of others.
Thanks, well-said! Iβve met many βnarcissists hiding in spiritualityβ, to the point that I will no longer align myself with a group ie a church or other spiritual organization.
I've definitely noticed this too. There seems to be quite an inordinate number of such in "spirituality." Maybe it's because spirituality is so easy to spoof (externally) for points, it being so inward a thing. Can't say I know for sure though.

Totally! I think itβs honestly in every industry that catches fire with popularity.

I wrote a thing a while back that was more silly about the different kinds of cliques you see in spirituality and that was one of them.
I like to call them βquantumpreneursβ π
ahaha this is awesome! it's a bit like how the spiritual people who went to party in Tulum are now called Tuluminatis LOL
π€£π€£π€£ nice hahaha. People are forever clever.
Thanks for sharing. Important to keep this stuff in mind when learning about different spiritual/enlightenment paths. It isnβt easy to navigate.

Totally :) Thank you for your input, really appreciate it.
*Everything* you just said.
I also appreciate the humaneness you show by not putting names out there.
"I am all for being open-minded, but extraordinary claims require a bit more than just a straight face."
Perfectly said.
Really glad to have found this post.
